Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Officially Join Instagram!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have launched a new Instagram account.

Several of the photographs chosen by Harry and Meghan showed the royal couple together, including a stunning previously unseen black and white shot of them standing on stage in Fiji, waving to crowds of gathered fans.

As Radar reported, Meghan recently shut down a secret Instagram account she had created to follow friends and others without anyone knowing.

At time of writing, Meghan and Harry now have 2.1 million followers.

Meanwhile, it is said the Duke and Duchess will use their Instagram, which now has more than 2.5 million followers, to officially announce the birth of the royal baby once he or she arrives. Pope Francis held the record before Daniel, when he took 12 hours to gain 1 million followers.

They shared nine more pictures, showing the duke and duchess on official visits around the world and of causes important to them. "We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal."- Harry & Meghan.'Harry and Meghan are on Instagram!

The countdown is on: Meghan and Harry's first baby is expected any day now.

The only member of the royal family to have their own social media is Prince Andrew, Duke of York, who is Harry and William's uncle. Since then, the account following has doubled, and now stands at 2.1 million followers (correct at the time of writing on 3 April 2019).

If you haven't laid eyes on Harry and Meghan's official monogram before, here's your chance-the first post on @SussexRoyal features their entwined initials, H and M, topped by a crown.

The Queen personally posted a photo on the account for the first time last month.
