Trump serves fast food feast to another football team

Trump is greeting football players at the White House with fast food — again

In January, with the White House kitchen staff furloughed due to the grinding shutdown of the federal government, the president served a similar meal to the Clemson University football team.

Trump, clearly unperturbed by the media's coverage of the Clemson visit, opted to bring out fast food again Monday for the NDSU players, who recently won the Football Championship Subdivision title.

"We could have had chefs - we could have - but we got fast food", Trump said at the event.

North Dakota State's buffet included Big Macs from McDonald's and some chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-a. Those anti-gay groups depict gay people as pedophiles, want to make "gay behavior" illegal, and have even said gay people should be "exported" out of America.

Quarterback Easton Stick threw five touchdown passes, including two to Darrius Shepherd, who was named Most Outstanding Player.

"When you play with passion and love ... and relentlessly reach for excellence, nothing is impossible", President Trump said.

He joked how he'd like to "have one right up here" at the podium but pointed to the assembled White House journalists and complained "they'll say: Isn't it frightful, isn't it inappropriate?" You'll never guess what was on the menu for the players to eat.

Despite the food, championship ceremonies went on as planned at the White House.
