Stranger Things season three trailer

Return to Hawkins with the first full trailer for Stranger Things season 3 2

Netflix on Wednesday dropped the trailer for Stranger Things season 3 that is set to premiere on July 4.

We've been eagerly awaiting any and all things related to our beloved Stranger Things since the series revealed when we'd be getting season 3 as the calendar switched to 2019. As Mike (Finn Wolfhard) notes in the voiceover, "We're not kids anymore". "That we're just going to sit in my basement all day playing games for the rest of our lives?"

The new season's trailer has been released with the tagline: "One summer can change everything" and we're sure the tagline wasn't meant for Eleven and the gang alone. But the story has always felt a little half-assed and made-up-as-you-go-along and the season climaxes were never as good as the build-up to them.

There's a lot going on in the latest trailer for The Duffer Brothers' upcoming surefire hit, Stranger Things 3.

Watch a new trailer below. "I think it is a specific season to 1985, and so you'll see references to that". However, BonusXP has continually said that Stranger Things will come to "all platforms", without specifying them individually. The '80s-inspired horror series will return to Netflix on July 4. Jake Busey will play a reporter for The Hawkins Post and Cary Elwes will join the season 3 cast as well as Hawkins' Mayor Kline.

The kids have certainly grown up - Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven is sporting longer hair, and the boys have gone through significant growth spurts. It certainly wouldn't be the strangest thing to happen in Stranger Things.

There's a few classic D&D creatures that roughly matches the general description of the new Stranger Things' monster.
