Cardi B says her breakup was not for publicity

Offset’s Sidepiece Summer Bunni Wrote Some Struggle Bars About Their Relationship

Offset's alleged mistress, Summer Bunni, whom he allegedly hooked up with in June just before Cardi gave birth, even spoke out following news of their split, stating that she has "not messed with Offset since he had his baby".

Cardi B chose to reassure everyone that her split from Offset is official and not for exposure, ahead of the release of her soon-to-be ex-husband's solo album.

"I really don't like how people say me and my husband - whatever he is right now to me - is doing it for publicity", she said.

"I never wanted to break up a happy home", she added.

Cardi also refuted that her relationship with the Migos member was "fake".

"I separated myself from certain situations and people for a reason".

Speaking out during her split announcement video, Cardi said: "It's nobody's fault it is just like we grew out of love but we are not together anymore". Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. "People fall in love, people get married". Things were not always gravy because at the end of the day, we are two different people. "It's the best thing, I learned a lot". "But people still like it because you can tell that I'm saying it from the heart". He made me wiser. I'm very sorry that this has happened and I'm very sorry that I didn't think about my worth as a young lady, and I just hope that she can overcome this.

On Sunday morning, Offset tweeted, "F**K Y'all I miss Cardi".

Offset feels his greatest challenge now is to regain his wife's trust - which feels impossible to him because haters keep filling Cardi's social media posts with negativity about him.
