Viva forever! Spice Girls officially announce reunion tour for 2019

The line-up will not include Victoria Beckham

The Spice Girls are getting back together for a reunion tour in June next year and the dates and venues have now been revealed - with a huge concert planned for the South West.

The girls will do it without Victoria Beckham, though, who said to be focusing on her fashion label.

They got together again to perform at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony and also collaborated then for the launch of the Spice Girls musical "Viva Forever!".

As it stands, the tour itinerary will kick off in Manchester on 6/1/19 and they'll travel through Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol, and wrap things up at London's Wembley Stadium.

Victoria Beckham sent a heartfelt message to fans as her former music group has announced a triumphant 2019 United Kingdom tour.

Beckham was absent from the clip.

With no planned pre-sales, tickets will go on sale this Saturday.

But with Christmas coming up, we can definitely see a fair few of you buying tickets for this one.

The four band members - Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm - haven't toured together in nearly a decade and haven't performed together in years.

Even so, Scary Spice Mel B - real name Melanie Brown - appeared to be on the side of fans in wanting Beckham to rejoin the Spice Girls for their tour.

While the stars will showcase their many hits from yesteryear on the tour, they'll be joined by one of today's chart-toppers, as Jess Glynne has been announced as their guest on the tour.

And Mel B said: "Reminiscing with the girls about how much fun we had, made me feel like it was the right time to do it all over again!"

The girls released three studio albums and 13 singles - with nine of them going to number one in the UK.

Halliwell tweeted, "I'm sorry about that...everything works out in the end, that's what my mum says!"
