Hillary Clinton for president -- again? Seems so, say top Dems

US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton smiles holding a mask onboard her campaign plane Erlanger Kentucky

Now, more significantly, a familiar name in politics is entering the realm of discussion once more.

"Hillary will run again", the title blares.

So Penn is desperate to sell the idea that Clinton cannot only come back and win the Democratic nomination, but that she's figured out why she lost in 2016 and has a fantastic game plan for defeating Trump this time.

In a new Wall Street Journal op-ed, the former Clinton adviser wrote that "Mrs. Clinton will easily capture the 2020 nomination".

In this July 8,2016, photo, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speaks at the African Methodist Episcopal church national convention in Philadelphia. "She will trounce them", they wrote.

Claims of a Russian conspiracy and the unfairness of the Electoral College shielded Mrs. Clinton from ever truly conceding she had lost. She will not allow this humiliating loss at the hands of an amateur to end the story of her career.

Throughout the campaign season, Penn and Stein detail, she had high approval ratings.

She was once against same-sex marriage; now she supports it. However, much of this may have been because of the alternative: Donald Trump.

The Clintons spent years making the Democratic Party all about them before that interloper Barack Obama rudely interrupted their reign. As a result, she may find it hard to regain their support a third time. Outside candidates include Beto O'Rourke, Andrew Gillum, Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

"You can expect her to run for president once again", the pair predicted.

As one expert put it, "If she can just bring that level of experience to the American presidency, we will be screwed in ways mere language couldn't possibly describe". As Trump has already defeated her once, she believes that he can do so again.
