Tanushree Slams Salman Khan & Bigg Boss Over Nana Patekar Controversy

Mumbai Tanushree Dutta files police complaint against Nana Patekar and others

Tanushree Dutta has alleged that veteran actor Nana Patekar allegedly misbehaved with her. Police officers and Akshay's spokesperson confirmed the actor submitted a complaint on Friday at the police station at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).

He added, "Tanushree Dutta's statement has not yet been recorded, so tomorrow she will come for the same along with the witnesses". Patekar was expected to address the media, especially since he had accused the actress of lying about the alleged incident in front of the press.

However, on the forth day of the shoot, Patekar's behaviour was inappropriate as he was grabbing her by the arms and pushing her around on the pretext of teaching her some steps, the complaint said. Dutta has said that Patekar had harassed her during the shooting of a film in 2008 and she had spoken out about the incident but nothing happened and she was even thrown out of the film.

"If you desire, we would readdress your grievances by conducting a fair and expeditious inquiry in a joint meeting where both the parties and both sides (ie you and Mr Nana Patekar), also since you mentioned the names of Mr Rakesh Sarang (director), Mr Ganesh Acharya (choreographer) and the producer Mr Siddiqui".

Ms Dutta stated that she had also lodged a complaint with Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) in March 2008. What I said a decade ago, I will stand by that. The 67-year-old star's lawyer has sent a legal notice to Tanushree for allegedly making false accusations against him and demanded an apology.

"I said this ten years ago... a lie is a lie (Dus saal pehle bol chuka hoon, ab jo jhoot hai woh jhoot hai')", Patekar told reporters here Saturday. Since he was busy shooting for Sajid Khan's Housefull 4 when the controversy broke, he promised to present his version of events in a press conference.
