Melania Trump on #MeToo: Accusers Need to Show Evidence of Assault

Donald Trump's politics kill Melania's aid partnerships, she tells ABC

Melania Trump has called herself the "most bullied person in the world", saying that it led her to setting up her anti-bullying campaign.

In the interview, she also commented on politics, saying there are still people working for her husband's administration whom he can not trust.

Llamas then turned the conversation to her "Be Best" initiative, pointing out the campaign to combat cyberbullying is "an interesting choice" because the president often mocks opponents on social media.

Her comments come after a New York Times op-ed written last month by an anonymous senior Trump administration official claimed they were part of an internal resistance to the president.

"I do stand with women, but we need to show the evidence", Trump said.

In the ABC interview she also said women alleging they have been sexually abused "need to have really hard evidence".

Even so, the first lady couldn't totally escape having a frank conversation about #MeToo. When asked to name some of the groups, she declined, saying only: "They know who they are".

"You think you're the most bullied person?". So if people put a swastika on my face once this article comes out, will she denounce them?

She said that her bond to Barack Obama is still going strong, but added how "one of the keys to successful marriage is separate bathrooms" which got a massive laugh from the audience.

Mrs Trump was interviewed on her Kenya trip by the American Broadcasting Corporation, which aired portions on "Good Morning America".

That really fired up Sunny Hostin, who said she'd taken many cases to trial with "just the woman's word". Oh, that reminds me-Speaking of bullied people, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford still isn't able to return to her home.

In the same interview, she also mentioned she doesn't trust everyone in her husband's administration, and has warned him to be cautious of his staff.

The full interview will air on Friday.
