Sacha Baron Cohen posts video teasing Trump

Sacha Baron Cohen

This isn't the first time Cohen has done something Trump-related.

Who knows what it all means but, for the record, Baron Cohen did go to school to learn about being amusing. The actor and comedian behind Borat, Da Ali G Show, The Dictator, and Brüno has made audiences around the world cry with laughter.

The clip, which is slightly doctored to include a superimposition of Baron Cohen's face, also implies that Baron Cohen may have followed Trump's advice, so to speak.

Here is what President Trump said about Sacha Baron Cohen in his video that was used in Cohen's announcement. The video is now Cohen's only tweet. You don't know s***'.

When Ali met Trump, he tried to get him to invest in "ice cream gloves", but after a short period, the real estate mogul turned President got wise to the ruse and ended the interview.

The clip ends with the logo for Trump University.

The university, created and operated by The Trump Organization in 2005, was meant to teach students how to become wealthy like Trump by investing in real estate.

In February it was reported that Baron Cohen paid convicted armed robber OJ Simpson £15,000 to lure him to a hotel room a prank for an undisclosed new project, not believed to be the Greed movie. Later, the president boasted, "I never fall for scams".

Trump was also a target of Baron Cohen's 2016 movie The Brothers Grimsby, in which he becomes infected with HIV from Daniel Radcliffe's infected blood. Some suggested that he might do the same to Cohen, long considered Trump's "fixer", but there is an apparent rift between the two.

ABC News on July 2 published excerpts from an interview with Cohen in which he rejected Trump's description of special counsel Robert Mueller's probe as a "witch hunt".
