Ariana Grande Spills Deets On Album Release On 'Tonight Show'

Watch Ariana Grande Cover Kendrick in the Style of Evanescence on “Fallon”

Before singing the song, Grande first said that she will imitate Evanescence, and she did with so much emotion. "It's called Katie Paris, get it", Grande said.

According to TMZ, Grande was apparently involved in the writing of every song on her upcoming album, which has been produced by American artist and producer Pharrell Williams, and Swedish songwriter and producer Max Martin. She confirmed the new album will feature a song called "R.E.M." after tweeting lyrics from the track last week.

If that wasn't enough, Ariana also let slip that she will be doing "something special" on the 20th of each month running up to the album's release.

Perhaps even more entertaining than her performance, though, was watching Grande hobble over to the screen because she seemed to have trouble reading the musical generator.

Whilst we patiently await the release of Sweetener, Ariana is already breaking records with her new era of music.

Grande and Fallon both rocked valley girl accents, with the singer sporting a sparkly and rainbow colored getup.

Unsurprisingly, Ariana Grande fans quickly turned on Caps Lock and went on Twitter to process the sheer amount of information their favourite singer just dropped on them.

She explained that "Raindrops" is the intro to the project and it features a sample from "An Angel Cried", the the 1950s song that she later found out was cowritten by her late grandfather Frank Grande's best friend Charles Calello. Well, last night Fallon asked her to do her impersonation of Jennifer Coolidge from Legally Blonde, and she sounded just like her!

Sweetener marks Grande's first full-length project since 2016's Dangerous Woman and her first since the fatal terrorist attack at her Manchester show in May 2017.

"And it was on a day like this ... yeah ... if you can belieeeeve ... if you can believe ... you're such a dream to me", Ari concluded her tweet spree. Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder, and to live more kindly and generously than we did before, ' he said. Fallon sang "Shape of You" in Ska genre easily.

The singer co-hosted the entire show with Jimmy Fallon with an interview, amusing sketches and the broadcast debut of her new single, "No Tears Left to Cry".
